Metacanthina Trilobite Fossils

These extinct creatures were widespread in the sea from the Cambrian to Permian times. They had head,body and tail sections and could walk or swim on the sea bed. Some specimens may be partially reconstucted. This species was assigned to the Metacanthina and later to Phillipsthiana order. Fossil is approximately 2 Inches in size.
